Hi! I’m Kayla, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and needs, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets while you’re gone. I recently moved to the Vancouver area and have a flexible schedule allowing me to provide walks, drop in visits, or pet sitting. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine exactly including medications, feeding schedules, exercise, and any special instructions. Additionally, I live at home with my boyfriend who will often accompany me walking dogs and will of course be there during boarding (so between the two of us your pet is getting lots of love and attention!!)

Kayla was professional, responsive, organized, and kindhearted throughout the whole process. We have 2 dogs (45lbs and 100lbs) who are both reactive and one who requires daily medication, so we are very particular about who we trust with them. She took care of both our dogs for 3 nights while staying in our home during our vacation. We had peace of mind the whole time, and she gave us lots of updates/photos. I couldn’t recommend her more, and we will definitely book her again!
Kayla is an extraordinary caregiver of all animals! She is a very detail oriented person and a great communicator. If I was looking a dogsitter, I would book with Kayla first!

Schedule
I have flexible availability daily for drop in visits, walks, and pet sitting. We can discuss your routine and I'm sure I can make it work.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets are welcome in my home for short term stays. I do not have a yard so dogs will be taken on walks (on leash). If I am familiar with your dog and they are well trained for off leash, I'm happy to take them to a dog park for additional play and exercise.
A typical day
I'll do what I can to help add joy to your pets day. I like to take them on decent walks to ensure they get the exercise they need. I'd also love to spend some time playing with them if the time allows and theres a place to do it!
