I have had dogs and cats all of my life. My last dog was a German shepherd mix who I trained through the 4H program. I have skills in correct dog walking and love to see the dog having a fun time exploring outside. I have experience with over 25 different breeds of dog and cat from ages 3 months to 17 years old. My family and I had a sweet and rambunctious Boston Terrier named Lily with severe medical needs. She required daily medication and sometimes emergency medication was needed in some situations. I am also experienced with dogs that suffer from anxiety and separation anxiety. I genuinely enjoy my time to hangout with your pets and I am happy to make their day fun. I have cared for and assisted in training my sister’s American Pitbull Terrier since she was young. I have the patience and knowledge to care for puppies to seniors. I have learned so much over my 7 years with Rover and through my personal life experiences with animals and continue to learn. Every pet is different and like us they have their own personalities and different ways to help care for each of them. I have my cat Peso who is about 14 years old now. I currently live with Peso. Your member of the family will always feel safe and loved in my care. Caring for your pet and offering a safe and fun environment is my #1 priority. Whether it is a dog walk or house sitting; they will always have my attention. I also LOVE information. The more info you can provide me on your pet the better. This way I can come prepared and ready to enjoy our visit. I am always aware of our surroundings on dog walks to stay one step ahead so your fur baby can enjoy their walk stress free. During Drop in visits and House sitting I am always 100% respectful of your home and space. Keeping everything clean and returned how you left it if not better! In summary, I will always treat your pet and your home as if it was my own.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is always top priority. Please let me know if any tips you use in your home for keeping your pet safe. For example: keeping specific rooms shut or allergies your pet may have. I always make sure to keep a clean space so no accidental sock stealing or hair tie heists on my watch. I have used different security systems in homes I have stayed in or been to for check ins. Let me know if you’ve had any wildlife sightings to be aware of in your area so I can also be alert to it.

Kayla was an incredible pet sitter for my dog and cat. My dog is shy and uncomfortable around people but Kayla was patient and caring. I was completely at ease while away because I knew my girls were in good hands. Kayla is also a great communicator, she responds quickly and sent updates daily. I couldn’t recommend her more.
