I’ve been around all kinds of pets since I was 8 years old (dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, etc.) Over the years many friends and family members have had full trust in my abilities to take care of, feed, walk, or check on their pets. I’ve been on Rover for about 6 months now and I’m excited for new future clients and furry friends ! :)

I make sure pets stay comfortable by keeping them on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I always try to create a calm, safe environment and respect each pet’s personality and needs. I also will keep owners updated with photos and messages so they know their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away.

This was my first time hiring a sitter for my cat! Having only had him for less than a year i was nervous but Kayla was great! She’s very responsive and professional. My cat took to her immediately and I’m sure soaked up the attention! Thank you Kayla

Kayla was amazing! Not only did she take fantastic care of our pup and did he have a great time, she also helped in a huge way when we had apartment issues while on vacation. It would have led to so much damage if she wasn’t there! Both on the pet and apartment front, Kayla was super responsive and communicated the whole. Will definitely have Kayla watch our boy again!
kayla was a lifesaver when our dog sitter canceled just days before vacation! she stepped in and took such great care of my senior dog, flynnie. she sent us lots of photos and updates, had great communication throughout, and was super reliable and responsible. it was such a relief knowing he was in good hands while we were away - flynn was happy, comfortable, and well cared for when we got home. we'll definitely be rebooking with kayla and highly recommend her!
Kayla truly loves and cares for every animal she encounters as if they are her own. She is my go to person when I need someone to look after my pets. They are always so excited to see her, which is proof of how great she is with them. Very trustworthy and compassionate person.

Schedule
I am currently a full-time drama teacher so my availability is the most free on weekends (all day) or all weekdays usually after 3pm! In the summer I have flexible availability everyday unless there is an emergency or I am out of town!

- Helpful things to share beforehand include feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, allergies, behavior around other pets and people, and any anxieties or triggers. I also appreciate knowing any house rules or training commands you use so I can keep their routine consistent while you’re away!
