i really only need to know the basics, such as the things the dog might not like or that it likes, if there’s a way the dog likes to be approached or touched i must know , if the dog has any injuries, as well if he doesn’t like certain noises like thunder etc. i want to make sure the dog is genuinely happy , I can only do that if the client is 100% honest with me, trust me i rather you tell me your dog is a biter right off the bat so I can prepare myself (biters don’t scare me I just need to know how to handle dogs that can be aggressive or don’t have any training ! )
A typical day
I like to make sure if I get a dog that is super active we must go on long walks or if the parent allows me to take the dog to a park or trail walk i would love to do that with their fur baby! if it’s a dog that isn’t very active but likes to enjoy the weather and sun bathe, we can do that as well!

Over the years, I've worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your dog is a couch potato 🛋️, a zoomie champion 🏃♂️💨, or needs a little extra patience and understanding, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. 🏡 I have a home with a fenced yard where dogs can safely run, play, explore, and enjoy plenty of outdoor time. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and right at home while you're away. 🐶 I know every dog is different, so I always appreciate learning about their routine, favorite activities, quirks, fears, and anything else that helps them feel their best. The more I know, the better care I can provide. ✨ One thing to know about me: I believe pets should enjoy their stay! This isn't a boot camp 😂. While I will absolutely respect any rules, routines, or training you're working on at home, I also want your pet to have fun, feel safe, and enjoy their own little vacation while you're away 🐕🌳☀️. 📸 I'll keep you updated with photos, videos, and messages so you can relax knowing your furry family member is being well cared for. 🤎 I treat every pet like they're my own, and I take the trust that comes with caring for someone else's best friend very seriously. Kayla was wonderful to our Tonton. She offered meet & greet ahead of the stay and even knows how to deal with Tonton's anxiety. He warmed up to her pretty fast with her approach which rarely happens and she constantly sent us updates throughout Tonton's stay. We could tell from the videos and photos that Tonton enjoyed his time with Kayla. We are very satisfied and would book her again!
Rudy & Beau were definitely loved and cared for at Kayla’s home. Never left them before and now feel such relief that we can if we need to and it will for sure be with Kayla. ?
Kayla was great with our pups and kept us updated with a lot of pictures and videos!
