Hello!! My name is Kayla and I am a huge dog lover who can't wait to meet your pet! I have animals of my own so I can only watch dogs that get along with other animals. On a normal day I take my dogs (and your dog) on two walks, at night and in the morning. At my home there is a scheduled feeding time so your pet will experience routine, but I can accommodate whatever your dog(s) needs are for feeding time. My pups will love to have someone to play with. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I work right around the corner from my house. So while your dog is here visiting there are very few hours where he/she will be alone. My home near, City Park, is pet friendly and safe. There are many areas where I can walk your dog(s) throughout the day. The price listed is for a 24 hour stay for a small dog weighing up to 44lbs. For a dog weighing 45-94 lbs the price is $33 and for a dog weighing over 94 lbs the price is $38. Having undergone Advanced Screening, I have been met in person and my home has been inspected. About this sitter: Hi! My name is Kayla. I am 25 years old and I love animals of all kind. When I was younger I was the kid who brought all different kinds of animals home and begged my mom to let me keep them. Growing up we always had dogs, but as soon as I moved out on my own I acquired a ferret ( I had always wanted one)! Soon there after I got my best friend.. Jasper. And currently I also have a black cat (all my animals are black... how weird). Here is a little bit about me... I am head of security at a few concert venues here in town. I love what I do. I live in an apartment that is very very close to where I work by myself. My animals LOVE living here. There are so many places to walk and explore. Plus, tons of neighbors who also have dogs and enjoy walk time. :-) City Park is located less than a half a mile away from my front porch. There is even talk of them adding a fenced in dog park there! I am on this site offering two different services. 1) House/ Animal sitting. I have quite a bit of experience in this field. I am very good at watering plants, taking dogs for walks, and continuing care in whatever daily schedule your pets are used to. I also have administered medications when necessary and given baths as needed. I am a very clean person and therefore would leave your home as immaculate as you left it (or more). 2) You can bring your dog to my house.... aka Dog Hotel Heaven. My home is very pet safe/ friendly (disclaimer: dogs must get a long with dogs AND cats). I have a large Jeep to take dogs to dog parks (if you are okay with that), on walks around City Park, or various other hiking spots (depending on the day). I love love love to take my dog on multiple walks throughout that day. He is a very active hyper dog, therefore it keeps me active :-). Within my home, I am very much okay with doing what you need EX: wherever your dog likes to sleep whether its in a crate or in bed with me.. that is up to you, or whatever else it may be. I can't wait to meet you and your pet!! :) Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs my entire life. I've always had big dogs but have lived with little dogs as well. Any and all breeds are welcome as long as they are friendly with other animals specifically cats. Meet my pets I have a black cat named Buzz. Buzzard (as I call him) roams around my apartment and finds places I didn't know existed. He loves to talk to me and loves food even more. He is a very friendly, loving cat. And will frequently be found sitting on my shoulder as I am sitting on my couch. Buzz has been around many different dogs his whole life, therefore is very accustomed to new dogs in his territory. It is very funny though because he will spend the time under my bed until he gets used to a new furry buddy... He LOVES to cuddle with my dog. I do have a snake. Her name is Xyla. I have had her since she was a baby. She does not socialize with other dogs for safety reasons for her and the other pups. And lastly, Jasper is a 6 year old Black German Shepherd/ Lab mix. He is very hyper and thinks he is a lap dog. He sleeps under the covers with me and pretty much rules the house. Except for the cat (because the cat is really the King). Jasper loves to play and will find anything to turn into a toy. He has an obscene amount of toys and is a master at removing stuffing and shredding toys. He will play fetch until he drops. And loves to swim. According to him, everyone and every animal is his best friend (including the geese at City Park... They don't agree). He is the best.
