I'm also available to pet-sit and keep them company while they relax in their space. I love to know your pets favorites and usual routine, carrying on a "typical" day especially with a sitter can be very comforting for most pets. Are there favorite activities, do they have special needs or medical needs, anything you're trying to encourage or discourage them from doing? Do they have a favorite walking routes or TV shows?
A typical day
I am an animal lover and enjoy both being active and the active recovery afterwards. I've been running for several years and have over 10 years experience taking and teaching yoga. After meeting the pets, I generally let them take the lead. The goal is to keep them safe, happy and feeling loved. I love animals; always have! I used to come home from school and do homework in front of Animal Planet and when it wasn't doing that I was taking care of my neighbor's pets. Cats, dogs and horses and I looked forward to it every time. My responsibilities included walking, playing, feeding and even reading to them (which I have on good authority was very adorable). If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets as if they were her own, I can’t recommend Kayla enough. She has an incredible way of connecting with animals and earning their trust almost immediately. Her love for animals is genuine, and it shows. She’s patient, attentive, and always makes sure every pet gets plenty of affection, playtime, and individualized care. She pays close attention to their routines and personalities, making sure they feel happy, secure, and loved while you’re away.
If you need someone to hangout with your critters while you are out of town I would definitely recommend Kayla. She took such great care of our pets and home while we were out of state. 100% recommend. Best critter sitter ever.
Kayla is one of the sweetest, most responsible and organized people that I know! She is reliable, punctual, and committed to doing things correctly. My dog is the pickiest of eaters, and she will not touch plain kibble. Kayla always makes sure that she gets a full meal that she will eat enough of, and prepares it properly with her necessary medications and supplements. Kayla also is very knowledgeable about pet safety on walks, and ensures that my dog gets breaks and enough water to drink as needed. Most importantly, Kayla simply loves spending time with animals is just the best choice if you need an extra hand in taking care of yours!
