I work professionally in dog daycare as a Team Lead, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I’m experienced with group play, individual care, feeding routines, senior dogs, puppies, basic training and behavior management. I’m comfortable reading canine body language and adapting my care to each dog’s individual needs. I also have experience with large breeds and higher-energy dogs, and I treat every pet in my care like one of my own.

I pay close attention to body language, behavior, and stress signals, and I’m comfortable following detailed feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions. I believe in keeping pets on a familiar routine and giving them the space, enrichment, exercise, and affection that works best for them.

Hi, I’ve worked with Kayla and animals on more than one occasion and each time she provided the exact care and more for every animal she has watched, fed or nursed. She is trustworthy and more than capable of handling whatever pet personality is thrown at her and can achieve success with whatever she puts her mind to.
Kayla was amazing with my cats! Both of them are super shy and usually hide when new people come over, so I was fully expecting her to barely see them. Somehow, she managed to get the more timid one to come out AND let her pet him, which is basically a miracle for new people in my house! She sent me some adorable pictures and updates while I was away, collected my mail, and even emptied my litter genie without me having to ask. She seriously went above and beyond and did all the little things I didn't even think about. It made being away so much easier knowing they were being taken care of! I'm so happy I found Kayla and I would 100% have her watch my kitties again. She's sweet, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about them. I definitely recommend her!! 💗💗

Schedule
Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine through my work in dog daycare. Outside of work, I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and other pet care services depending on the day. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual routine and provide consistent, attentive care while you’re away.
