I recently worked at a professional dog daycare, where I cared for and supervised dogs every day. My experience includes group play, handling dogs with different personalities and energy levels, monitoring behavior, and keeping dogs safe and comfortable throughout the day. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently have two Boxers of my own. I trained both of them and have plenty of experience with energetic, intelligent dogs who need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Through my work, I’ve been trained to read canine body language and recognize signs of excitement, stress, anxiety, overstimulation, and when a dog needs space. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and individual needs. I’d love the opportunity to give your pup one-on-one attention and provide the same thoughtful care I give the dogs I work with every day.

In my home I have two very playful and friendly dogs! One likes to rough house and the other is gentle but I always keep an eye on them when they are playing together, around other dogs, and with other dogs that are not each other. I have a fenced backyard that has plenty of room to run around in!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kayla was absolutely AMAZING, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! ❤️🐾 From the moment she arrived, she was so sweet, kind, thoughtful, and incredibly considerate with all of our pets and our home. We have three dogs and a cat, and Kayla was stellar at taking care of every single one of them. She sent us SO many wonderful pictures and kept us consistently updated throughout her stay, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. She walked the pups every day, played with them, gave them lots of love and attention, and made sure everyone was happy and well cared for. What impressed us most was how attentive she was to all of the little details we shared with her. Our pups have some specific sensitivities around resource guarding, so we gave her quite a few things to be mindful of, and she handled everything with such care and awareness. She was incredibly respectful of our instructions and clearly took the time to understand each pet’s individual needs and personalities. It was obvious that Kayla genuinely cared about our babies and wanted them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. We came home knowing they had been in wonderful hands, and that means EVERYTHING to us. Kayla, we absolutely adore you and would LOVE to have you come back anytime! You’ve definitely become someone we would feel completely comfortable trusting with our entire fur family. Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have open availability and can dedicate plenty of time to the pets in my care. I’m able to be flexible with walks, drop-ins, and sitting schedules, and I enjoy having the opportunity to build my day around each pet’s individual needs.
