I have always loved animals, and I have 3 years of experience working as a veterinary technician assistant, where I learned how to care for animals with different personalities, needs, and comfort levels. I have also cared for dogs and cats for family and friends, so I am comfortable with everything from walks and playtime to feeding, medication, and giving pets plenty of attention while their owners are away! I am patient, dependable, and attentive to little things that make each pet comfortable! Every animal is different, so I would be more than happy to follow their normal routines and give them the same love and care they are used to! Whether they are energetic or a little shy, I will treat them like they’re my own!

I understand that letting someone into your home and trusting them with your pets is a big deal! I’m respectful of your space, careful to follow your instructions, and always focused on keeping your pet safe and comfortable. I’ll make sure doors and gates are secure, stick to their normal routine as closely as possible, and send updates and pictures during the visit.

Kayla is one of the only people I trust to watch my dog. I’m pretty particular when it comes to Max and have a lot of specific little things I like done when I’m away, and she always makes sure to do every single one of them. I never have to worry about Max when he is with her, which says a lot! She’s also just naturally so good with animals. They absolutely love her, and you can tell how much she genuinely loves and cares for them too. I always know Max is happy, safe, and getting plenty of love when he’s with her. I would trust her with my animals any day and recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for theirs!

Schedule
I have a very open and flexible schedule right now, so I am available most days and can work around your pets routine! I am primarily offering drop in visits and dog walks, and I’m flexible with morning, afternoon, or evening visits. I would love to help out whenever you need someone to give your pet some extra attention or exercise!
