Your Pet’s New Favorite Human
While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been pet sitting on and off throughout high school and college for friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Those experiences have given me confidence caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I’ve also helped my family raise two Australian Cattle Dogs with very different temperaments. Our first was anxious and timid, and as she grew older, I learned how to provide compassionate care for a senior dog while helping her feel safe and comfortable. Our second is high-energy and reactive, giving me hands-on experience with puppyhood, crate training, basic obedience, and managing an active dog that thrives on structure. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or enjoying their senior years, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I’d want for my own dogs.

Kayla has done a phenomenal job taking care of our three dogs, three cats, and five chickens. We have been out of town for up to eight days at a time, leaving our little zoo entirely in Kayla’s care, and she has always gone above and beyond to make sure every animal is happy, healthy, and well cared for. With so many animals, our household has a pretty rigorous feeding and upkeep schedule, with different routines and needs for each pet. Kayla has been fantastic about keeping up with every detail and following our instructions exactly. She is extremely responsible, attentive, and dependable, and I never have to worry about anything being forgotten while we are away. She is also more than competent when it comes to caring for animals with special needs, medications, dietary requirements, or more involved care routines. She takes the time to understand each animal individually and makes sure they receive the same level of care and attention they would get if we were home. On top of taking wonderful care of the animals, Kayla has always been respectful of our home and keeps everything clean and in order while we are gone. Having someone we trust enough to care for six indoor pets, five chickens, and our home for over a week at a time is incredibly important to us, and Kayla is someone we trust completely. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and genuinely attentive pet or house sitter.
Kayla is a caring and thoughtful person. She has pet sat for us on numerous occasions. She is responsible and communicative. She always kept us updated and sent photos and videos daily. We never worried about our pup when Kayla was watching him. We highly recommend Kayla for a position at Rover.

Schedule
I’m a full-time law student in the Denver area. I’m available evenings and weekends with the exception of certain holidays where I visit family in Arizona.
