Hi there! My name is Kayla, and I’ve been a loving pet parent for over five years to my sweet Yorkipoo, Belle. She’s a 13-pound bundle of joy; she’s very shy, but also very sweet! Caring for Belle has given me firsthand experience with everything from daily walks and enrichment activities to specialized feeding schedules, administering medicine, and providing a calm, safe environment. For your peace of mind, I’m located just 2 minutes from both Banfield Pet Hospital and Knightdale Animal Hospital, so prompt care is always within reach if ever needed. I treat every pet like family and can’t wait to care for yours!

Kayla was awesome with my little V! She made sure my dog was comfortable, happy and well taken care of, while in while her care. She kept up with her daily walks, schedule feedings, sent daily updates and cute pictures as well! My dog had a wonderful stay, which allowed me to have no worries while vacationing. I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter and look forward to working with her again!
I can’t say enough great things about Kayla! She has been an absolute blessing for me and my dog Rylo. From the very first time they met, I could tell she genuinely loves animals and has a calm, nurturing presence that dogs naturally gravitate toward. Rylo took to her immediately, which says a lot—he’s usually shy with new people. Kayla goes above and beyond just “watching” Rylo—she takes the time to engage with him, play, and make sure he’s truly comfortable and happy. I always feel at peace knowing he’s in such good hands. She’s incredibly responsible, trustworthy, and communicates regularly with updates and photos, which I appreciate more than she knows. Beyond her skills as a sitter, Kayla is just a wonderful human being—kind, dependable, and so easy to work with. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pet like their own, but that’s exactly who she is. I’m so thankful for her and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation!

Schedule
Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine! I work 100% from home Monday through Friday, which allows me to provide around-the-clock attention and care for pups throughout the day. Whether it’s potty breaks, playtime, walks, or just some extra snuggles, I’m always nearby and available to keep your pet happy and comfortable. I’m also available for boarding and doggy day care needs on weekdays and weekends, so whether you’re heading out for the day or taking a longer trip, your pet will be in loving hands.

Inside, my home is a calm, cozy, and safe space where pets can relax and feel at ease. I take extra care to create a peaceful environment that’s free from hazards and full of love. Whether your pet needs exercise, snuggles, or structured routines, I’m ready to provide the same level of love and attention I give Belle every day.

A typical day
When your fur baby stays with me, they’re in for a fun, loving, and engaging time! We’ll go on walks along the scenic park trail or enjoy short strolls around the neighborhood to get some fresh air and stretch our legs. I also have a large, shaded balcony patio that’s perfect for a little relaxation or quiet time outdoors. And of course, it’s always playtime! I have plenty of toys to keep them entertained and happy.
