Information Kayla M. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best care possible, I ask that you share as much detail as you can about your pet before booking. The more I know, the better I can meet their needs and ensure they feel comfortable and safe in my care. Please let me know: Does your pet have any behavioral issues, reactivity, or triggers I should be aware of (e.g., fear of loud noises, resource guarding, leash reactivity)? Are they special needs or require mobility support, assistance, or extra supervision? Do they take medications, including insulin, sub-q fluids, or supplements? If so, please include instructions and timing. Are they fully vaccinated and on flea/tick prevention? Do they have any allergies or sensitivities (food, treats, cleaning products, etc.)? Do they get along with other dogs, cats, or people? Are they crate trained, or do they have specific sleeping arrangements? How are they with being left alone? Do they experience separation anxiety? Do they have any quirks, routines, or comforts I should know about (e.g., preferred walking route, favorite toy, bedtime ritual)? Have they recently been ill or injured? This information helps me tailor their care and keep them happy, healthy, and stress-free while you’re away. If there’s anything else not listed here that’s important to your pet’s care, big or small, please don’t hesitate to share!
A typical day
Every day is tailored to your pet’s personality, energy level, and routine; whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home. In my home, mornings usually start with some fresh air in the fully fenced yard followed by a walk around the neighborhood or nearby parks; walks are usually 45 minutes or more unless you request otherwise. I’ve got a variety of toys (even for tough chewers), comfy spots to nap, and plenty of time for cuddles and play. Pets can hang out on the furniture or sleep wherever they're comfortable (unless you have specific rules you'd like me to follow). Cats have full range of the home and will have access to large, clean litter boxes. You're welcome to provide your own supplies, or I can use mine. In your home, I aim to keep things as close to your pet’s usual routine as possible. I’ll stick to their feeding schedule, walk them along their familiar routes, and follow any house rules you have in place. I treat your home with the same care and respect I do my own and always make sure it's left clean and tidy. I do not allow off-leash walks, even for well-behaved dogs, for safety and liability reasons. No matter where your pet is, they’ll get the same love, attention, and personalized care they’re used to with an extra dose of fun and companionship while you’re away!
