I currently work from home running my own business so I am somewhat flexible in my schedule. I enjoy pet sitting as a way to encourage me to break away from work to get out and play or go for walks, etc.

I have a good sized fenced back yard for them to play outside. There are lots of walking paths and parks around that we can go for walks on. Our golden doodle is very friendly and playful. She enjoys having other dogs around to play with but is also gentle with cats and will leave those alone that don’t want to be bothered. There is room for them to be in a crate if that’s what they are used to. I will do my best to accommodate as best I can to their normal within reason.

Please let me know about any special needs or requests ahead of time. I really prefer calmer, friendly, fun personalities who are likely to get along better with my goldendoodle and do well with my cats. I’m happy to do a meet and greet before scheduling if you’d like.
A typical day
A typical day would include lots of toys, walks, zoomies in the backyard, playing fetch, etc. My goldendoodle enjoys a mixture of those so I try to keep it fun. If there is something different or one is really preferred over another just let me know!

Pet care experience
I’ve loved animals since I was a kid. Growing up out in the country we had up to 20 something cats at one time. They each had a name and I knew who each one of them were. Since then I’ve cared for numerous cats and dogs over the years from kittens and puppies to seniors. I currently have a golden doodle and three cats. I regularly walk Toto’s (Wizard of Oz) twin each week and I am a regular sitter for my best friend Teddy, another golden doodle. I love making friends with the animals, learning their personalities and having my favorites come back again and again!
