Love & affection with every visit!
I've been surrounded by pets of all breeds, sizes and temperaments since I was 7. I absolutely love connecting with animals and getting to see their unique personalities shine through. In 2020, I interned at Austin Pets Alive!, a no kill shelter, and learned how to feed, groom, and provide enrichment to every animal, from energetic pups to shyer dogs and cats. I also took care of my sweet childhood dog for 7 years until he sadly passed away earlier this year. Now it's just me and my rescue cat, a spunky tortie named Hina. I absolutely love playing with and taking care of her, and I want to provide the same love and enrichment to pets whose owners have busy lives.

I follow all care instructions given to me during a check-in. Unless stated otherwise, I will only let your dog outside on a leash or within a fenced yard for a walk/playtime to keep your animals safe!

Kayla is the truly amazing. As a first time Rover user, I was quite anxious to have someone come stay in my house with my animals. The second I met Kayla all my nerves were gone. I could have not asked for a better experience. Kayla was super quick to respond to my booking request. She came over the night before we left to meet our animals and go over instructions. She was super patient with our dog when first meeting him and was understanding of his temperament which was something I was worried about. Kayla is so sweet and showed both of our animals great love and attention. She constantly sent updates and pictures which was highly appreciated. She arrives exactly when she says she will and responds almost immediately. She kept the house clean, the animals happy, and my plants watered. I did not have any worries while I was away! I will 100% be booking with Kayla any time I am leaving town.

Kayla took wonderful care of our cats, Apollo and Rocket, while we were away on vacation. She was incredibly attentive, reliable, and communicative throughout our entire trip. She provided detailed updates and plenty of photos during each visit, which gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to truly relax knowing our boys were in good hands. It was clear from her updates that she genuinely cared about their well-being and took the time to make sure they were comfortable, happy, and well cared for. Coming home to two content, well-loved cats was the best confirmation that we made the right choice. We are so grateful for Kayla’s excellent care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!

At the moment, I have the ability to set my own schedule! That means I'm available to take care of your pet whenever you need me.
