I'm currently a student, so my schedule is reliable and fixed. Between classes, my time is mostly spent with my pets, and I can spend hours at the park playing fetch, playing, or cuddling with cats and dogs. I know the effects that boredom can have on pets' wellbeing, and it's my main priority in making my time with your pet as stimulating and individually-tailored as possible.

I am ready to have conversations with you before coming to visit so you can make sure I'm the right fit for your needs. I am aware that some pets may need quiet time in the same room before starting on any activities or care, and I am happy to be patient and approach them at their own pace. I will take care of your space and help clean up after them (especially shedding!) and can send you updates on feeding times, walks, and playtimes.

Pet care experience
I have a soft spot for anxious or difficult dogs. Having moved around a lot in my childhood, it was always our most important task to make our dog as comfortable as possible to make stressful environment changes as smooth as possible. This involved a lot of training, but most importantly, learning and adapting to individual animal's personalities to give them the space to be their most truthful selves. I'm a firm believer in getting to know an animal and adjusting around them first, so that they can be relaxed and get to know you next! A comfortable and well taken care of dog is most important in forming connections :)

Kayla is perfect as a pet caregiver all kinds of pets. She is conscientious, caring, kind, and loves animals. She owns a cat (and loves him to bits!) and has been around dogs since a child including our chocolate Labrador. I can highly recommend and vouch for Kayla around your pets; either as a walker, or in home setting. She's honest, trustworthy, and very personable and animals love her!!
