Pet care fits naturally into my routine alongside my full-time teaching position. During the week, I’m happy to provide care before and after school hours, as well as evenings, and I’m very organized about planning ahead to ensure pets receive consistent attention and care. On weekends, I have open availability and can dedicate extended time to walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I enjoy working pet care into my schedule and am committed to being reliable and flexible for pet families.

I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes through drop-in visits and walks. During each visit, I follow the pet’s established routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I prioritize safety, consistency, and positive interactions so pets feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. I also make sure to respect my clients’ homes, keep spaces clean, and provide regular updates and photos so pet parents feel confident and informed while they’re away.

I also like to learn about their temperament, energy level, likes and dislikes, and how they interact with new people. Knowing leash behavior, triggers, or fears helps me keep walks safe and stress-free. For cats and other pets, I ask about litter habits, hiding spots, and preferred interaction. This information allows me to provide consistent, personalized care and ensures each pet feels comfortable and secure.

Most importantly, I focus on making each visit enjoyable and stress-free so pets feel happy, comfortable, and cared for.

My long-term experience allows me to quickly adapt to each pet’s unique personality and needs, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.Some about me: I own a chocolate lab, a black cat and an orange tabby cat. Kayla was absolutely wonderful! Her communication was fabulous. The daily pictures made myself and my family so happy. She’s reliable and so nice.
