I’ve had a lifelong love of animals and have been caring for pets since I was 10 years old, when I got my first dog. In college, I expanded my experience by dog-sitting for friends and neighbors, learning to care for a wide variety of breeds and personalities. More recently, I provided long-term care for my two beloved dogs—a Jack Russell who lived to be 16 and a pitbull who made it to 11. Their recent passings only deepened my appreciation for the joy and companionship pets bring into our lives. My experience has taught me patience, attentiveness, and compassion, as well as the importance of meeting each animal’s unique needs.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are safety, trust, and maintaining a calm, familiar environment. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and bedtime routines. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality so they feel comfortable, secure, and loved while their family is away. I also treat my clients’ homes with the utmost respect by keeping them clean, secure, and exactly as I found them. I provide regular updates with photos and messages so owners can relax knowing their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is to give pets consistent, compassionate care in the place where they feel safest—their own home.

My experience caring for pets while balancing school and work has taught me to be organized and intentional with my time. I prioritize consistency, and I’m comfortable coordinating pet care into my schedule both during the workweek and on weekends, ensuring they get attention, exercise, and the comfort they deserve.
