I think it is important to be aware of any special needs any animal may need - how frequently they go out, feeding times/amount, if they are given treats and how often, best ways to comfort your animal in stressful situations (for example, thunder jacket for storms), if they interact well with others (people and dogs), medical needs, and any other pertinent information that makes your pet who they are!
A typical day
I am a very easygoing, flexible person. I am willing to partake in activities to ensure exercise and fun needs are met. I love taking long walks, and I would be willing to take dogs to the park to play fetch and run around.

Hi! My name is Kayla. I have had a wide range of pet experiences over my lifetime. I have owned cats, dogs, a hedgehog, leopard geckos, fish, and a pig. I have cared for multiple cats, dogs, and a even guinea pig. I also have experience giving insulin shots to a diabetic cat. I have been pet-sitting for others since 2012. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty and love animals. When an owner is away, it can cause distress to the animal(s). I strive to make sure your pet does not realize you are missing and provide the utmost care, love, and attention they deserve. I look forward to caring for your pet!

This is our second time booking Kayla. She was able to take wonderful care of our 2 cats while we were away for our honeymoon for 3 weeks. Although we hadn’t been away from the cats for such an extended period of time before, Kayla’s twice daily updates kept us at ease the entire time we were gone. We knew our boys were being well taken care of during our absence. She always goes above and beyond to tidy up our apartment before our return, and we would happily book her again!
