I am working a full 9-5 which means that when I get home, the first thing I do is take my dog to the dog park for over an hour. In addition, over the weekends, my dog gets my full attention.

I live in a condo with a yard in the back so when I care for my dog it is either a long walk outside or some quick play time in the backyard. At home I sit and play with him. I also do my best to teach him new tricks every once in a while.

It would be important to know whether your dog gets along with other dogs. I would also want to know if you would be okay with me taking him to the beach or on a hike and whether the dog can be off leash. Any typical routine? Tricks you are trying to reinforce?
A typical day
I live near SB Bowl so my routine has been to walk my dog all the way to State Street. I usually wander the street and stop for any live music or if i find a nice place to sit. On some days I'll stop by SB High School where other dogs come and play in the grassy areas. When I have more time on the weekend, Hendrys beach, the dog park, and/or a hike is almost ALWAYS on the schedule.

Pet care experience
I currently have a black lab and had him since he was 10 weeks old. He is SO friendly and gets along with all dogs and people. While puppy stage was difficult, it was so rewarding and fun! I also had a toy poodle for 6 years when I was in middle and high school.

It was a short notice dog sitting request and we found Kayla nearby our dinner appointment location and we left our two senior dogs to her. She regularly sent the photos and messages and safely kept them for 4 late evening hours.. Thank you.
Kayla bravely agreed to take our 8 month old Australian Shepherd for 2 nights and days while we attended family wedding events. She handled her beautifully and our puppy loved her time. Puppy came back calm and happy. Kayla is very "dog knowledgable". She communicates clearly - asks questions about what would be OK for puppy. It made such a difference to us to know the great treatment she gave to our "teenage dog". We will ask for Kayla whenever we come. Our dog is crate trained, which helped I am sure.
Amazing! We dropped off Lucia while we watched a show at the bowl. It was very convenient.
Kayla was so awesome! She took care of our pup overnight since we had an event at the SB Bowl and she lives right in that area :) She was professional, flexible with timing, and very kind! Her dog Kevin is a sweetheart, and our pups were very friendly & playful throughout the stay. Great experience and would highly recommend her services!
