I am a Wildlife Biologist who enjoys pet sitting as a side job/hobby. This allows me to spend time with wonderful animals which is so much fun. I love getting to know all the personalities! I am pretty flexible on availability I understand that last minute changes come up, just let me know exactly what you need and we can figure it out from there.

I have two golden retrievers at my own property who are typical Goldens playful, goofy, and love to cuddle. My services consist of drop in visits, house sitting, dog walking. If you needed to have your pets here at my home, I would just have to rearrange some things so the pets are not stressed out at all. I will ensure your home looks just as good as when you left. Sometimes the hair can start to accumulate and I have done light vacuuming even on drop in visits. (If needed)

A typical day
I will ensure your pets get the much needed exercise and love they need. Walking them, cuddling, playing with toys, and bathing if requested (additional fee), feeding, and don’t forget TREAT TIME :) Typically when I come into a home I like to greet the pets and give them some love. This allows them to calm down a little before heading outside. Walking them for 30 mins (longer if requested) or if free range walking with them taking them on adventures. When we get back I feed them and make sure their water is topped up and fresh for when I am away. Don’t forget before our time is up I give them some attention and treats. I will also ensure to take photos of their day for you! We all know we miss our furry friends when we have to be away!

Pet care experience
Hi my name is Kayla I have experience with domestic animals and wildlife! I have a wildlife conservation diploma and experience working at boarding facilities/mobile pet sitter where I would take pets to off leash parks, drop in visits, socialize with pets and walking. When i was a kid i got the opportunity to help my mom and our household dog have puppies. Our household cat he ended up getting some health issues so I have experience injecting medication for diabetes (insulin). And lastly I also have my own beautiful pets at home that I adore! Typical Dog Mom looking to spend more time with animals. :) I will spoil your pets as if they are my own :) and make sure they get out on walks, play fetch, burn off energy and most of all have fun while you are away.

Kayla was very responsive to messages, followed my crazy cat mom instructions very well, and made sure my cat got his medications on time. The pictures she took were great as they were of exactly what I want to see - him drinking, eating, playing and taking his meds :)
