I am home full time for the summer but do go back to work as a teacher in August. While I’m not able to do overnight stays due to having young children at home, I’m happy to stop by throughout the day and into the evening to make sure your pet is well cared for.

In my client’s home, I make sure pets stay comfortable by following their regular routines as closely as possible. I provide scheduled feedings, fresh water, playtime, walks (if needed), and plenty of affection. I also keep their environment clean and safe, and I’m always happy to follow any special instructions or routines you provide. Communication is important to me, so I send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. ***I no longer provide boarding services!***

Before I agree to watch your dog, I like to gather important information to make sure I can provide the best care possible. I ask about their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs or medications. I also want to know about their temperament, how they do around other dogs, and if they have any behavioral quirks like separation anxiety, chewing, or leash reactivity.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes lots of love, attention, and fun! I start the day with breakfast and some outdoor time…either a walk or some play in the fenced yard if they’re staying with me. Throughout the day, we’ll have play sessions, cuddle time, and quiet breaks to relax. I love engaging pets with toys, games of fetch, or even a little training if they enjoy it. For pets who enjoy the outdoors, I’ll take them on walks, let them explore safely in the yard, or just lounge outside if that’s more their style. I also make sure they get plenty of mental stimulation, whether through play, enrichment toys, or simply spending time together. Every pet is different, so I pay attention to their personality and needs to make sure they’re comfortable and happy. Evening time includes dinner, more play or a walk if needed, and winding down with some snuggles or quiet time before bed. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for..like they’re on a little vacation of their own!
