Availability
During the school year, I am available to run home for lunch and allow potty breaks. I am usually at work 7:45-3:45 most days. Other than that, your pet is top priority when I am off :)

I have a large yard behind my house to run and play. I have fostered animals for years so I am experienced in kenneling animals, if preferred or I have lots of space to run around inside as well.

Information Kayla H. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know your pet’s daily routine, any medical needs, behavior quirks, what they love (and fear), and how they typically interact with new people or other animals. The more I know, the better I can make them feel safe and comfortable!
A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of love, attention, and routine! I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get potty breaks or clean litter, and enjoy playtime or walks based on their needs. I also spend time giving snuggles, enrichment, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable—just like they would at home.

Foster animal mom/teacher
Pet care experience
I'm a 9th-year teacher and mom to a sweet 5-year-old daughter who’s never met an animal she didn’t instantly adore. For the past 10 years, I’ve fostered dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens—so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m home all summer and love spending my time running, walking, exploring parks, and being outside—especially when animals are involved! Whether it’s a midday walk, overnight care, or just some extra love and attention while you’re away, I’ll make sure your pets feel right at home. My goal is to give them the same level of love and care that I give to my own furry family members. Let’s chat about how I can help care for your pets while you're away or at work!

Reviews
Our dog 🐕 loved staying with Kayla. She was amazing! We received periodic updates on their activities and how he was doing. The photos showed a very happy spoiled boy. We could not have been more pleased. It was such a comfort and relaxing for us knowing that he was well taken care of in our absence. We lóok forward to rebooking with her in the future. Atlas has found a second home.

I won't leave my cat Sophie with anyone else! Kayla and her daughter Ellie are the best cat sitters around. They have a calm and loving home, perfect for my shy cat.

Very sweet, took good care of my dog! She seemed very happy over there. Would use again!

Kayla was great with my cats and they liked her right away! They were well-cared for while I was gone.
