Before caring for a new pet, I like to do a thorough walkthrough with the owner to learn about their pet's routine, training methods, preferences, and any special instructions. I believe consistency is important, so I strive to maintain the same structure and expectations your pet is used to in their daily life. When entering a client's home, I always proceed carefully, opening doors slowly and ensuring pets cannot slip outside. I make it a priority to keep fresh water available, follow feeding and medication schedules as instructed, and closely monitor pets during walks and outdoor time. If a pet is in the yard, I always check that gates are secure and fencing is safely enclosed before allowing them outside. Above all, I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and plenty of love and attention, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.
