I’ve been a dog person my whole life, from growing up with Winnie and Hairdo to caring for my soul dog Cici (Khaleesi) for nearly 14 years. I lost my sweet girl in July and now I have a whole lot of love to give without anywhere to put it. 🥹 Your pup will be treated like royalty with plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and attention... just the way Queen Cici demanded. 👑

Kayla is an excellent and trustworthy pet sitter. She is reliable and thorough. She does well with my very shy and anxious dog, who is a constant flight risk. It is so nice not having to worry about him when I’m not there. She provides updates and is always responsive, and you can tell how much she genuinely loves animals. I recommend her highly.
Kayla has the unique ability to make her fur-friends incredibly comfortable and loved. Dogs have been a big part of her life. She is so patient and I have no doubt that any dog she has in her care will love all of the attention Kayla has to give.
Kayla takes far better care of my dog than I do (and I take good care of him!!!). She took him on long walks, sent daily updates, and asked all the right questions about his preferences and habits. It's so clear how much love and joy she has for animals and we felt so lucky that our dog was in such good hangs while we were away. Book with her!!!

Kayla has been a wonderful help with my two 7-month old puppies, Bishop and Bosco. I wanted to ensure they got separate individual walks, but time didn’t always allow for that. Kayla came to my rescue. She offered to step in and help ensure they both got the devoted attention they needed. Now, it has become a weekly ritual. Seeing how she has bonded with them always makes me so happy. And the puppies are always so excited to see her too. Kayla is dependable, caring, and patient, and she always makes our days brighter with her puppy walks. Couldn’t recommend her enough.

Schedule
I work from home, so my schedule is flexible with plenty of time to give your pup attention between meetings and emails. My day job is in social media so you can guarantee to receive Instagram-worthy photo pupdates while your dog is with me. I’m super active and love a long northside sniff walk. I’m often available for early mornings, lunchtime visits, and late evenings. I’m happy to work with your dog’s routine and needs.

My home is set up really well for dogs, with an almost fully fenced-in backyard and a covered deck for relaxing outside. I’m on a quiet street in East Allegheny, with cute spots around for treats like Garden Cafe and ACB. My apartment is on the second floor of a house, so there are stairs to get in and two steps inside the apartment as well.
A typical day
We start with an early morning walk, coffee, breakfast, and then settle into the workday together. Since I’m WFH, your pup gets plenty of attention, cuddles, and belly rubs throughout the day, with easy access to the yard whenever they need it. 🐾 I usually head to the yoga studio in the evening, followed by one final walk before bedtime. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and absolutely welcome in bed as well. 🥰 As a yoga teacher, I’m also a big fan of stretching, relaxation, and the occasional dog massage. And if your pup wants the full royal treatment, Paw Spa grooming is available during their stay! 🛁🐶
