I’ve cared for dogs since I was young, and family and friends have consistently trusted me with their pets when they needed reliable care. Being a dog owner myself, I understand how important routines, patience, and individual attention are. I’ve personally trained my own dog to respond to commands such as sit, treat, paw, cage, potty, and poop, which has strengthened my ability to work with dogs using positive reinforcement. I’m attentive, gentle, and always focused on making dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re away from their owners. I treat every dog as if they were my own and pay close attention to their unique needs and personalities.

We used Kayla recently; we are new to doggy day care resources. Our dog had some anxiety but he adapted to K without too much trouble after the initial fuss. I think K worked well with Cayden from his disposition when he came home. He was well adjusted and seemed thar he got all of his nervous energy out. He was very chill like he was no in need of decompression from his environment. I think that is thanks to Kayla.
Had a wonderful experience with Kayla. On a personal level she is kind, respectful, and is eager to please. She sent pictures daily and throughout the day. She went above and beyond by dropping my girl off to me and picking her up when I was running late. Would rebook with her in a heartbeat. Thank you Kayla, Tofu loves you!
I highly recommend Kayla to watch my fur baby. My ship Rocky loved her so much, and he gets so excited every time he sees her !
Kayla took very good care of my Marco, he doesn't go to everyone but once he warmed up to Kayla it was like his big sister, she played with and walked him as I asked, I recommend this young lady to take good care of you fir baby!

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible, and I’m able to choose my work days. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day and be able to stick to their routines.

Safety, trust & environment
I like to focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. I live near two dog parks and enjoy taking my dog on regular walks and potty breaks throughout the day. I have a friendly dog of my own who loves having a companion to play with. I typically crate my dog only at bedtime, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s crate or sleep preferences as well. I also have plenty of dog toys available and don’t mind sharing to keep everyone entertained and happy.

I make sure pets stay happy and active with a variety of fun activities. These include daily walks, dog parks, playtime with toys, and supervised play with my dog for socialization. I also enjoy spending one-on-one time giving pets attention and affection. Whether a pet prefers active play or calm companionship, I adapt activities to ensure they feel comfortable, loved, and entertained.

- Before caring for a pet, it’s important for me to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs or medications. I also like to understand their temperament, energy level, and how they interact with other pets and people. Information about crate or sleep preferences, potty routines, triggers, fears, and favorite activities or toys is very helpful. Knowing emergency contacts and a veterinarian’s information ahead of time also ensures I can provide safe, consistent, and personalized care.
