I love all breeds of dogs, but I am especially partial to herding breeds and Golden Retrievers. My husband and I have a 2 year old Miniature American Shepherd named Bodie who we are absolutely obsessed with :) We love to hike, ski, backpack, swim, and run with him. Bodie has climbed Mount of the Holy Cross with me, visited 20+ states with us and participated in the GoPro Mountain Games in Dock Diving. He was even the "best boy" and official witness at our wedding in September 2023! He signed the marriage license with his paw print 🥹😍 Walking pups is my full-time job so I have plenty of time and energy to devote to taking care of your dogs! I've been actively walking pups on Rover since July 2021 and I absolutely love it! I've been rated the #1 dog walker on Rover in Vail Valley for Winter 21/22 and Winter 22/23! My family had a Golden Retriever when I was younger and currently has a very energetic Australian Shepherd who lives in New York with my parents. I miss her very much and visit them often. I also have experience taking care of many other different breeds of dogs, in addition to my neighbor's horse, donkey, goats, and pigs for extended periods of time. I'm very active so I will take them on plenty of walks and adventures, in addition to giving them lots of hugs and attention. I love that all dogs are different, so I look forward to bonding with each dog and finding out what makes each of them special.

Note: I am not currently taking dogs in my own home, unfortunately, because our apartment complex won't allow us to have dogs visit unless they're registered with the office.

This was my first time using Rover and Kayla took amazing care of my pups! I knew they were in good hands when I didn’t have to worry about them for the entire day. They got some nice long walks and playtime in. I’m so glad Kayla was able to take care of them!

Kayla is the BEST!!!!! So responsive and trustworthy- she has been saving us during crazy word days! Roger loves her so much and comes back tired and happy :) 10/10, so lucky to have Kayla in our lives!!
Such a god send! Loved our sweet puppy like she was her own. Read her signals beautifully :) we came home to the happiest puppy ever after each visit with Kayla. Her unit was confusing to find, but she was able to navigate finding it beautifully. We were so lucky to have found her through rover and honestly, our visit to Vail was such a success because of her visits to Betty each day. Thank you Kayla for being such a homerun!!

Schedule
This is my full-time job and I absolutely love it! I've been booking up over the weekends this winter, but feel free to reach out, I'd love to fit your pup into my schedule if I can! I'm almost always available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays as well.
