I have a varied schedule throughout the week but am happy to discuss any time restraints or requirements. Afternoon is the most flexible time of day for me, but morning or evening work as well.

I make sure litter boxes are cleaned and tidied regularly, food and water as directed, check the house to prevent anything unexpected, and play/entertain (or cuddle) with pets for the allotted time. Each cat is unique and I love adapting to new cats needs and personality.

Please let me know of any favorite toys or games your pet likes as well as any preferred hiding spots. Allergies, temperament, and other useful information is always welcome. Eating routine and basic litter box hygiene, as well as any household quirks and things to watch for is good to go over as well. Every cat and household is unique! I can sometimes ask many questions to make sure were both confident in the care of the animal, which may involve asking things that may seem routine to you, but can vary drastically from household to household. Please do not feel self conscious about having lots to say, or not very much to say during our conversations. Both are completely normal! If you have detailed needs and notes for the visit, id be glad to discuss them. If you feel its a pretty standard visit and you don't have much to say, I promise I will contact you if anything relevant to you pets care comes up. Clarity and quality in communication is most important to me. I also like to take multiple pictures of your pet during my visit. Please let me know if you prefer having more or fewer pictures included in the visit.

I love using stick and string toys with cats! I am good at engaging cats in a long play session with fishing rod style toys as well as feather wands and throwing toys. Cuddles and a good grooming or petting are always fun if your cat prefers that kind of attention. I excel at chin scritches and have won over many reserved kitties this way.

Kayla was absolutely phenomenal to have as our pet sitter. Not only did she answer our sudden call to look over our two cats for almost two weeks after we had to fly out-of-state for a family emergency (with only less than a couple days notice!), but she went above and beyond by giving our cats plenty of playtime and attention during her visits and was even generous enough to take out our recycling and trash before she wrapped up. It really eased our minds so we could focus on our other family members. Seriously cannot recommend her enough and rest assured your cats will be in great hands under her care. Would absolutely rehire her again for our future (and hopefully less abrupt) trips! 🙌
Kayla was able to take care of our cat on short notice and gave us peace of mind that he was taken care of, played with, and given his medication. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable cat sitter!
Kayla filled in last minute for me when my house sitter fell through. I'm so thankful that she was able to watch my 2 cats and did a great job! One of my senior cats requires meds via injection and that was no problem for Kayla. Came home to a clean house and very happy kitties. I would definitely use Kayla again to take care of my cats.
Kayla will make sure your cat is taken care of! She went above and beyond when sitting my cat and even bought her a rather large toy. Your cat will get snuggles and cuddles if they so desire it! She’s good with both sweet and loving cats and rather aloof or attitude cats (such as mine who bites to show affection). She respected my cat’s boundaries and let my cat come to her, making sure my cat felt comfortable.
