I will adjust to what the dogs need and am a very open communicator. My house is clean and safe for pets. I do have stairs in my home, but am willing to work with dogs who need additional support.

A typical day
We can play in the backyard or in the house. I have some dog toys in my home already but, of course, you can bring your dog’s favorite toys! We can also take walks in our neighborhood and nearby parks.

Pet care experience
I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and needs. My corgi, Vinnie, had back and hip issues later in life, which taught me the importance of attentive and compassionate care. Growing up with labs and sharing nearly 10 wonderful years with Vinnie, I’ve developed a deep love for dogs. Over the past 20 years, I’ve helped friends and family care for their pets, always treating each animal like part of the family. I prioritize providing personalized, one-on-one care, and only in rare cases will I care for more than one dog or one family’s pets at a time. My volunteer work with the ARL has also given me valuable experience with a variety of breeds and unique needs.

Kayla is wonderful! Very patient with our girls. While watching them over the weekend, she took them for walks and gave them love and attention.
