I am a veterinary technician, graduated from tech school back in 2011. I am married to a veterinarian, and we are so passionate about animals. I can administer medications and care for your fragile senior pets and love them as much as my own. I have pet sat in my home for years with many returning customers!

I truly cannot say enough good things about her — five stars doesn’t even come close. She took care of our injured dog with such incredible patience, compassion, and attention to detail that it immediately put our minds at ease. From medication schedules to mobility limitations, she handled everything flawlessly and treated our dog like her own. Her communication was exceptional — thoughtful updates, photos, and genuine care every step of the way. It’s rare to find someone you trust so completely with your pet, especially when they’re vulnerable, and she exceeded every expectation. We are beyond grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. Absolute gem of a sitter.
Kayla and her family took great care of Chief. Her lab pup became fast friends with mine and so I knew he was getting lots of play time in. She is trustworthy and cares deeply. Plus her cast experience with pets put me at ease. Thanks for watching my baby while I was away - would absolutely visit again!
Kayla was absolutely amazing! She was responsive and easy to work with. One of our dogs is reactive and she gladly made time for a meet and greet prior to us being out of town. Both dogs got two great walks each day and she left our house sparkling clean. Plus, she sent lots of pictures which put my mind at ease! I would 10/10 recommend her and the fact that she works at WestVet guarantees that she’s great with dogs!
Kayla and her family take such good care of Stanley, and he loves the attention! Kayla was very accommodating, and was able to keep Stanley an extra night when my flight was delayed.
Our dogs had a great time! It was nice to know they were well loved and cared for while we were on our 10 day trip. Would definitely recommend and use them again!

Schedule
I work as a clinical manager and make my own schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for them and spend time with them. Pets are with me at least 90% of the time either at home or work and they love it!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard with plenty of room for play. I have 1 dog and she is very sweet and welcome visitors easily. I also have an elderly cat and a new kitten, so I need pets that are cat friendly. I always feed my pets and visitors separately to ensure safe mealtimes. I welcome dogs to sleep with me if that is how they sleep at home. I welcome beds, toys, treats, medications etc. to ensure they feel like they are at home.

A typical day
I have a dog park nearby, I love to play fetch. I love cuddling and talking with them a ton so they constantly feel comfortable with me. I have a toy basket and dogs love that they can play with anything safely and have a good time while at my home. If it is nice I leave my big slider open and they can run in and out. I have cameras inside and outside so I always have eyes on them!
