I currently live in Kingsport and commute to Johnson City to work at ETSU through the week, making my availability for walks and drop-in visits flexible! I miss my days of pet sitting full-time and work passionately to ensure pet care remains an important part of my routine.

Dogs in my care are always supervised, and properly leashed when outdoors. Meal times and play times are always supervised and I am sure to double-check the safety and security of pet spaces. I am sure to regularly check on pets when things seem too quiet, and am attentive to food, water, and toileting needs. I set alarms for every medication and medical need to ensure I provide them on schedule.

A typical day
I love to go on walks and play a rigorous game of fetch. I'm also happy to slow down and give snuggles for dogs that aren't as high energy. Creating fun enrichment activities is a favorite challenge of mine, as mental enrichment of pets is equally important. I strive to have a tail-wagging time with all of my furry friends! For kitties, I allow them to set our pace if they need some space or time to warm up to me. But rest assured, we'll be good buddies in no time!

I was nervous because we’ve never had someone from rover watch our good boys, but Kayla was so amazing. She gave us detailed notes daily, so many photos, and all around just calmed me down about leaving them by how much she was detailing. I could tell she was really playing with them and learning their personalities just based on the notes she was leaving, and I’m so grateful!
Kayla is fabulous! She is the only one I trust with my cat. He is always well cared for and she gives me peace of mind while I am away.
