Does your dog love daily adventures, or would they rather curl up and relax? Either way, my husband and I would love to be the ones they spend their time with while you're away. We both have flexible schedules, so your dog gets our real attention throughout the day, not just a quick visit here and there. We grew up with dogs and have experience walking, running, fostering, and boarding all kinds of pups, from the ones who want to play all day to the ones who just want to be near you on the couch. Kayla was a great sitter for Pepper. She communicated with us well, was prompt with responses, and sent us plenty of pictures. She seemed to exercise our pup even more than we usually do. We would recommend leaving your dog in her care.
Kayla was truly wonderful! Our girl can get somewhat stressed when left with strangers but Kayla made sure 'Thena was comfortable by making sure she had her bed, and accommodated her raised feeding bowl etc. Kayla was in contact with updates and pix everyday! We were able to have a relaxing trip because we knew Kayla was taking great care of our 'Thena.
Kayla is friendly, responds quickly, and sent a lot of pictures! Tucker clearly was very well taken care of and had a great time.
Kayla did an exceptional job taking care of my 2.5 yr old energetic lab. From communicating before the booking, to a thorough meet & greet and then Kal’s actual stay with Kayla, I felt I was dealing with a thoughtful, reliable and responsible care-taker. Kayla sent photos and videos of their time together, whether cuddling on the couch, hiking or playing fetch with Kal at the park. I will be leaving Kal in her care again and highly recommend anyone considering doing the same with their pup!

My pup had a fantastic stay with Kayla when I needed travel on short notice. Having a dog who often feels anxious with changes in routine and novel situations, I greatly appreciated how comfortable Sadie seemed by the first update soon after she started her stay with Kayla. Despite the short time frame for Sadie's stay, Kayla quickly replied to arrange a time to meet Sadie before my trip and asked thoughtful and thorough questions regarding Sadie's usual routines and care needs. I had a great experience working with Kayla and hope she's available the next time I need someone to care for Sadie while I'm away from home!

Schedule
My husband and I both work from home with flexible schedules, so pet care fits naturally into our day. My mornings are wide open for long walks, and I have plenty of availability throughout the day for outside breaks and playtime too. I love being active, so getting to do that alongside a dog is honestly one of my favorite parts of the day!

Your pup gets full freedom in our home, with plenty of couch cuddles and a safe, relaxed space to settle right into. We love getting outside to explore the neighborhood together, and I always match the walk to your dog's pace, whether that's a slow, easygoing stroll or a longer walk to burn off some energy. I'll send regular photo updates throughout the stay, so you can relax knowing exactly how your pup is doing and feel good about your time away.
A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping your dog active, happy, and loved. We'll head out for walks, play some fetch, and explore local parks or hiking trails depending on how much energy your pup has that day. When we're back inside, since I work from home, your dog gets to relax, cuddle up, and just be near me throughout the day. It's the best of both worlds, fun outdoor adventures paired with cozy, relaxed company!
