I am an animal lover of all animals (cat, dog, horse, ferret, chickens, just about any and all!). I volunteer for a local animal rescue acting as an Adoption Coordinator to help screen applicants and place dogs in forever homes. I've fostered 40 animals from age of 2months - senior from anywhere to 1 night to a couple months long. On dog # 10 I foster failed on a border collie lab mix, "Gable". I do not have a fenced in yard because a lot of my yard is horse pasture, however I do have 5+ acres to let dogs run on a lead line and on leash, as well as a 20x10 kennel. Your dog will join my dog on a morning walk every day around 6-7 AM for up to a 3 mile walk (if they can), lunch time play session, and evening stroll play time again until bed time. I only take 1-2 dogs at a time because I want it to feel like a home for your dog. They will be treated just like my dog and get lots of 1on1 attention due to only taking it 1-2 dogs at a time. I have experience caring for seniors who needs meds 2x a day, skittish dogs who need quiet calm environments, and very high energy talkative dogs who need lots of stimulation. Whatever type of dog you have I have the experience for. Gable, my dog, has his CGC AKC title so he will befriend anyone and everyone and does an amazing job reading other dogs to know what level they do or don't want to play at.
