I understand that when a dog is unfamiliar with me they may act differently than with their owners. My job is to earn their trust in addition to yours, and that comes with building familiarity. I would love to know if there are specific things I can do to make your dog feel comfortable on walks with me. Likewise I would like to know if there is anything that may trigger them to bolt, like how they are when seeing other dogs or wild animals from afar. I do not have any breed preferences but I do understand that different breeds can behave differently. If your dog is a breed I have less experience with, I will research the breed and utilize that information to help perform my duties and provide them with a fun and safe adventure.

I am local to the South Salem area and frequently make use of the common green spaces in the surrounding neighborhoods. My familiarity with these spaces is just what I need to help customize routes to suit a dog's needs and work within an area they are familiar with and comfortable in. I am open to suggestions on their favorite places or anywhere they may come across their own furry friends.

**COVID-19 UPDATE** With our world changing in an attempt to improve the pandemic we are experiencing, I understand how important it is to care for our furry friends. As an appropriate adjustment to my services I will be adhering to all CDC recommendations and am open to any additional needs you may have. I love dogs and cats of all sizes and working with Rover allows me to stay connected with the four-legged friends I love. I have connected with many breeds and truly enjoy taking care of our furry friends. I am also excited for the opportunity to connect with more animals and their humans :). I have lived with or been surrounded by animals since I was 15, when my family adopted their first dog. Many things have changed in the passing years, but I still have a passion to surround myself with these loving creatures. I understand that lives are busy, our pets deserve all we can provide for them. When your family needs it, I am here to help. I look forward to meeting you and your tail-wagging counterparts!

Kayla and family treated our fur baby as if he was one of their own. Great care and communication while our anxious pup was with them for an extended time. Will definitely use Kayla again!
Kayla was great to work with! I had to board my cats for three weeks. She was very accommodating. She has a separate office in her house that she was able to use as "home base" since she also has animals. She communicated well and sent periodic updates with pictures. We are extremely happy with her boarding service. Also, Kayla has come over to walk and play with our dog on multiple occasions. He's excited to see her everytime. My boyfriend and I are very happy with all the services she has provided for our animals!
Kayla stayed overnight with my two kitties and did an amazing job! She is incredibly communicative! I had no worries and will definitely use her again! :)
Snickers is a elderly pup pushing 17 years that needs assistance walking, especially down stairs. Kayla was available right away and did very well with Snickers! I will definitely book with her again and recommended her, very nice and professional!
