Information Kayla B. would like to know about your pet
I like to know ahead of time some basic information about your pet, including general temperament especially around other animals, feeding amounts and schedules, prior or current medical conditions and medications, level of house training, and known commands, as well as any special considerations or restrictions of activity on furniture in the home, types of treats, etc. I also always make sure that I have the pet’s vet’s information and ensure that in the event of an emergency, I have a contact number for the pet’s human or another human who can guide decision-making and have informed them of the plan to take them to the emergency 24/7 animal hospital after business hours. Of note, if I cannot get in contact with a pet’s human, I make decisions to prioritize the pet’s well-being in terms of veterinary care.
A typical day
I love to give lots of pets, play fetch and tug, go for walks, and give treats to the dogs I sit. I enjoy playing with wand toys, giving treats, and petting the cats I sit, if they also enjoy that!

I’ve taken care of my own pets and the pets of friends since I was 8 years old! I have experience doing the general upkeep of dogs and cats.

Kayla has taken care of our cat several times, she is very careful with our home and also takes such good care of our furbaby for us. She is very responsive and sends cute photos and updates which we appreciate so much.
I had a great experience with Kayla! My cat immediately took to her, and I could tell he enjoyed spending time with her. She was reliable, trustworthy, and sent thorough updates and photos. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking with her again!
I really need room for ten stars! Kayla took wonderful care of Jeepers -- I think he wants her to trade places with me! She followed my ridiculous number of instructions to the letter and went above and beyond by bringing in the empty garbage bin and the Sunday paper from my front door, and was so conscientious about reporting how much Jeep ate (or didn't). I know he appreciated how much time she spent loving on him, as do I. I hope Kayla will be willing and able to sit for us again this summer!
The best as always. I am more comfortable with Kayla watching than any other sitter. Always the best care and love for my kitties. Thank you so much!
