(20lbs dogs or smaller only) I strive to give my pet parents the best photos of their babies! Check out my photos to see some of the results! 🫶🏻 I have experience with amputees, puppies, post-op, and senior dogs (I have a 16 year old tripawd chihuahua). I have experience administering medication, feeding hard and soft food (refrigerated, heated up or at room temperature), managing a post-surgery cone, suture observation, providing assistance navigating the home, and easing fears when they arise. Although I limit the size of dogs for boarding, I have experience taking care of Dachshunds, English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Great Danes, Huskies, Labs, Golden Retrievers, Yorkies, Spaniels, Mixed Breed dogs in a variety of sizes, and cats. I’m available ☔️ or ☀️ maybe even ❄️ but not 🌪️. For boarding, I do not accept dogs who are not fully potty trained, who bark or howl excessively, who cannot sleep downstairs without a person present overnight, or who have any issues with other dogs even if only sometimes.

Kayla is nothing short of fantastic! From the first communication, to the introduction meeting, to the stay, and everything in between, she was nothing but kind and respectful. My baby boy, Vegas, felt right at home to moment he met Kayla and Bentley. Her home was cleaned and organized. Throughout my time away, she sent me updates and photos, and even took my baby boy to see Santa (which absolutely made my day)! This was his first stay with someone other than family, and I can say that Kayla will be our dog sitter for all future trips. If you are looking for a sitter, I would highly recommend Kayla and Bentley!

Kayla is a fantastic walker for my dog. She is professional, personable, and knowledgeable. She has followed all my care instructions to the letter, she is always commicative and on time, and she has been very flexible working with my schedule. I would not hesitate to book with her!
Kayla arrived right on time and took our dog on nice walk through the neighborhood, and provided some cute pictures of her visit! Our pup was so relaxed when we got home- I know she was in good hands. We will absolutely reach out to Kayla again!

Programa
I predominantly work from home and I’m not away from home often, so pet sitting fits well into my schedule. I’m also flexible and can adjust my schedule to be at home if not originally scheduled to be.

I would care for anyone’s pet the same way I would care for my own, with the most love, care, and respect for the animal as possible. If the pet is in my home I would allow them the opportunity to explore and get comfortable with their surroundings and follow any of their parents instructions to help them with the new environment. If I’m in the client’s home, I would follow the client’s instructions on how to best serve the animal while I’m there.

When watching pets, I like to tailor the activities to each pet’s personality and preferences! For active dogs, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch, or running around in the yard. If the dog loves learning new tricks, we can practice some fun commands! For more laid-back pets, we can enjoy some cozy cuddle time, grooming sessions, or just sit together while watching TV. Cats tend to enjoy interactive toys, so we can play with laser pointers or feather wands, and I’ll also make sure they get plenty of quiet time to nap. Every pet is different, so I’ll make sure to keep them engaged and comfortable based on what they love to do!
