Safety, trust & environment

I don’t currently plan on boarding dogs or bringing them into my home for a couple of different reasons; my dog, Mocha can be very dog reactive and I don’t want to disrupt her safe space. The other reason being I rent my home currently and can’t take the risk of something happening.

Information Kayla B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any medication they need to take while in the window of my care. As well as if they have any physical issues ie: jumping in and out of a SUV, hip dysplasia, seizures, etc.

A typical day

Mental and physical stimulation is so important for your dog! My favorite way to do this is to give your dog a structured but fun walk at the same time. They will be able to sniff around but also work on their heeling/recall as well to keep them thinking! If they love to fetch I’ll make sure we’re in a safe space to do so! I personally am not a huge dog park fan because there’s so many variables that are uncontrollable, unless requested we would not be going to a dog park.

Dogs have always been my passion

Pet care experience

I am currently a veterinary assistant with Feeder Creek Veterinary Services and have been a VA for 9 months. I was a dog trainer with Sit Means Sit - Licking Valley. I’ve been training since June 2025 but have been taking care of dogs since I was in my early teens. My family has always trusted me to care for their animals when they’re away. I’ve worked with all different ages of dogs from 2 months to 13yrs old.

Kayla is great. She’s very responsive and gives lots of feedback after each visit. I have a newly adopted dog that has some behavior issues and I wanted someone with some experience and Kayla has been able to handle anything that comes up. The dogs know when she is supposed to come and are so excited when she shows up!

Hi there! Kayla works for us as a trainer at our dog business. She began as a client and we saw how great she was with her own dog and her true passion for pets. Kayla has been with us for a year now. We couldn't ask for a more reliable, trustworthy and responsible person to work with us training and caring for other people's dogs. We are certain she will be a great employee for Rover.
