I have had both cats and dogs my whole life and have been taking care of them professionally for the past four years. When I was younger, I would often times take care of family members animals when needed. From an early age I knew I wanted to do animal care professionally and in 2020 I started working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. It was one of my favorite experiences and I learned so much about dogs! Some of the things I learned are; body language, safe play, how to deescalate high stress situations, feeding different diets, and medicating. After a couple of years at the daycare, I decided to start my journey in shelter work. I am currently a volunteer coordinator at a shelter and have grown my knowledge of both dogs and cats. I am excited to have the opportunity to meet and love your pet while providing a safe place to play and rest!
