I have 12 years of experience with positive reinforcement training, behavior modification, shelter work, petsitting, and working within a variety of shelters, veterinary clinics, and zoos across the United States. I have two degrees in biology and psychology, as well as certifications for positive reinforcment animal training. I currently am a certified behaviorist and work full time with behavior modifictaion and petsitting which allows me to have a completely open schedule for your needs! I am available for weekly midday drop ins, day visits, boarding, overnight visits, behavior modification, basic training, and caring for all animals, including exotics! I have petsat for over 60 repeat clients with a variety of animals from hoofstock to small domestics. I have experience caring for senior animals and animals with special needs (medical and behavioral). Kayla is amazing!!! First time leaving my cat with a sitter and I was so nervous. She isn't a fan of meeting new people but she warmed up to Kayla almost immediately! Kayla was super patient and even gave my cat some playtime during her visits. She also kept me updated with pictures and how my cat was doing overall. I'm really looking forward to booking with her again and finally happy to not be a nervous fur-mom lol. Thank you Kayla!!!
Our dogs loved having Kayla sit for them while we were out of town! She was very friendly and accommodating, and quick to respond with answers to any questions we had while we were out of town. She setup a time to meet with our dogs before we went out of town to make sure they were comfortable with her, and it worked out great! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be re-booking with her again!
We had a last minute trip and Kayla was able to meet us at short notice and help us with our three pups. She was great with them, and very patient, as they hadn't had a sitter in years and had to adjust a bit. Thank you Kayla!!

I recommend an in home visit before becoming a new client in order to formerly introduce myself and get to know you and your fur kids! I recommend written instructions and emergency contact information for overnight pet sitting. I also recommend writing down your current veterinary information, as well as any medications your pet is on.
A typical day
I always like to make sure that your animal is getting the best care and exercise. I like to take them on long walks, play calming music for them when it's time to decompress, and play fun games with them such as fetch, find it games, and training.
