Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know their normal routine, feeding schedule, walk preferences, energy level, and any medications or special care instructions. It’s also helpful to know about allergies, fears, triggers, leash behavior, favorite toys, and how they do around other pets or people. Every pet is different, so the more I know ahead of time, the better I can make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

A typical day depends on each pet’s routine, but I always try to make their time with me feel safe, fun, and comforting. For dogs, I love doing walks, playtime, fetch, sniff breaks, belly rubs, and giving them plenty of attention so they feel loved while their owner is away. I’m also happy to follow their normal feeding schedule, refresh water, clean up after them, and help keep their routine consistent. For cats, I know some love playtime and attention, while others prefer a calmer visit, so I’ll follow their personality and comfort level. I can play with toys, give treats if allowed, refresh food and water, clean the litter box, and spend quiet time with them so they don’t feel alone. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or a longer visit, I’ll make sure your pet gets care, affection, and updates so you feel comfortable knowing they’re in good hands.
