Safety, trust & environment
Since 2 of my own are/were escape artists, I’m paranoid about fences and gates. I always stay outside when your pets are outdoors. I double check doors/gates to make sure they are closed. I ensure collars/harnesses are properly tightened before walks.
Information Kay & James P. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or requirements. It’s also helpful to know if your dog is dog aggressive or fearful beforehand if you’d like me to walk him/her.
A typical day
I love to do what you dog loves whether it’s taking a long walk around the neighborhood, playing with toys or snuggles on the couch.

Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm and have had dogs my entire life. We currently have 4 dogs..a 16 year old Yorkie, 5 year old coonhound, 3 year old beagle/lab mix and 5 year old dachshund/chihuahua mix. We also foster for a local rescue and usually have 1-3 foster hounds. All of our dogs have been trained by me. I’m also skilled in giving medicine (eye, ear & oral), feeding tubes and subcutaneous fluids. We often petsit for family and friends and I have volunteered at animal shelters in the past. Our dogs run our house…LOL. When we are away, the seniors have free rein while the younger ones and fosters are crated. Everyone is fed separately due to prescription diets and our hound’s desire to eat everyone’s food so demanding feeding schedules are second nature. We also have 2 plus fosters that require daily medications so giving medication isn’t an issue…I know every trick!
Reviews
Highly recommend you choose her as your pet sitter. Very caring and understanding. Response times are great. Awesome personality. We will use her magnificent pet sitting abilities in the future. Your animal(s) will approve. 🐕🐈🐰🐓🦃

Kay is amazing, she sends pictures and updates with each visit.

Even my skittish kitty came out to see Miss Kay! Golden was thrilled.

Kay was wonderful with our shepherd Nation. We could tell when we met Kay she was an experienced dog person, not just a sitter, and had experience working with shepherds. She put us at ease with how quickly she was able to get Nation comfortable with her at our initial meet and greet. She kept us updated on how he did for each visit, and we could tell he enjoyed having her spend time with him while we were gone. Highly recommend her.
