Weekend Hikes with your Pup!
I'm Kay and I live with Lexie (12 yr old pitbeagle mix) , Goose (2yr old velociraptor) and my rescued stray cat. I was a long-term dog rescue foster home, walker and volunteer until Lexie and I found each other, and I adopted Goose in 2024 as a neglected puppy. We'd love to look after your dog when you're out of town. I am happy bathing, administering medicine, whatever your pup needs while they're staying here with us. Your dog should be ok with cats, ideally, but we can make it work if you’re not sure about their cattasticness. Dogs all go for an early morning walk of at least a mile (45 mins to allow for sniff stops) and again pre and post dinner. If your dog needs more activity, additional evening walks and maybe the occasional run are happily provided. Dogs are allowed on furniture and the bed, but if you have specific rules that you operate at home that you’d like me to maintain so let me know and I’ll happily enforce.

We were very happy with Kay. Prompt communication, lots of pictures, and our dog came home happy and healthy.
Kay did a great job taking care of Luna! Luna came back happy and well cared for. Kay communicated frequently, made sure Luna had her meals, and Luna clearly had a fun time with Kay and her pups. We really appreciated the care and would happily recommend her.
Kay is absolutely fantastic with Eddie. Despite Eddie’s “high standards” for new people and anyone outside of the window, Kay loves spending time with her and Eddie is always so happy to see her. If you’ve got an anxious or shy pup, Kay is for you!
Kay was wonderful. So clearly a dog lover. She communicates frequently and made out anxious pup feel at home.
Kay is simply the best! Our pup loves spending time with her and her dogs. Kay is incredibly attentive and always keep us up to date on how our dog is doing with her. Cant recommend highly enough!
Kay did an absolutely fantastic job caring for Nova! She kept me consistently updated, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated how mindful she was about slow introductions, ensuring Nova felt comfortable and safe. Kay was also incredibly patient with Nova’s food quirks, taking the time to make sure everything was just right.

Schedule
Normal weeks are 2-3 days per week in the office. Dogs are walked morning and evening. I have a Nest camera to supervise from afar!

I have a fenced small patio and multiple rooms to give dogs some quiet time when needed. I have my own dog beds and bowls so you can leave yours at home. My dogs will only steal any visitor’s bed.

A typical day
Walks, hikes, visits to parks and lakes. My dogs are my adventure buddies and we'd love your dog to come with us. I work from home 2 days a week and have a yard so daily breaks and exercise are a given.
