I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and know how important it is to leave yours with someone you genuinely trust. I’m calm, patient and attentive, and I’m especially comfortable with shy, nervous, older or quieter dogs who may need a little extra reassurance. Every dog is different, so I’ll follow your routine and adapt walks, play and care to suit their personality, age and energy level. Safety is always a priority. I follow owners’ instructions carefully, use secure leads, stay aware of other dogs and surroundings, and never take unnecessary risks. I’m reliable, conscientious and happy to follow feeding, exercise and medication instructions where appropriate. You’ll also receive regular photos and updates, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for. My aim is simple: a happy dog and an owner who feels completely confident booking me again. 🐾

Schedule
I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day and can give pets plenty of company, attention and care. I’m naturally quite a homebody, so pets staying with me won’t be left alone for long periods, but I also really enjoy getting outdoors for walks and fresh air. I have a secure private outdoor patio at home, as well as a lovely park directly across the road, which is perfect for regular walks and exercise. My routine is flexible, so I’m happy to adapt to each pet’s usual schedule, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles or simply having someone around for company. 🐾

I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable and relaxed, whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home. I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, rest and any individual preferences or instructions from their owner. I’m happy to care for pets with different personalities and needs and will give them plenty of individual attention, affection and company. When caring for pets in their own home, I’ll also be respectful of their environment and make sure everything is left secure and as I found it. I know how reassuring it is to know your pet is happy while you’re away, so I’m also very happy to send regular photos and updates.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor the day around their usual routine, personality and energy levels. I want them to feel comfortable and settled rather than as though they have suddenly been dropped into a completely different environment. For dogs staying with me, the day will usually include a good morning walk, plenty of fresh air, playtime and lots of attention and affection. I have lovely walking areas nearby, so there are plenty of opportunities for sniffing, exploring and getting out and about. At home, there is also time to relax, play with toys, have treats where permitted, or simply curl up beside me. Because I work from home and have flexibility, pets are able to have plenty of company throughout the day. I really enjoy having them around, so they won’t simply be fitted in around my day; they become part of it. I always follow the owner’s instructions around feeding, walks, medication, sleep and any little habits that help their pet feel secure. Some pets need lots of stimulation and activity, while others need a quieter pace, reassurance and cuddles. For me, the most important thing is that every pet feels safe, loved, happy and genuinely cared for. I want owners to be able to relax knowing their pet is having a lovely time too.

- The more I know about your pet beforehand, the better I can make sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable in my care. I’d love to know about their usual routine, personality and favourite things, as well as anything they may find difficult or stressful. Please let me know about their feeding and walking routine, sleeping habits, recall, behaviour around other dogs or people, any fears or triggers, medication or health needs, and whether they’re used to being left alone. It’s also really helpful to know about any little quirks — whether they love cuddles, need their own space, get nervous in new environments, pull on the lead, guard food or toys, or have particular ways of settling. There’s no such thing as too much information. I’d much rather know everything in advance so I can care for your pet in the way that feels most familiar and reassuring to them.
