I am currently on summer break so weekdays and weekends are pretty flexible I can usually adjust my routine around a pet’s needs. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and overnight care throughout the week, and I can provide plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship during the day.

A typical day
A typical day depends on each pet’s personality and routine, but I always make sure they get lots of attention, exercise, and care. For dogs, that usually includes walks, playtime, outdoor time, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. For calmer or older pets, I’m happy to relax with them and stick closely to their normal routine so they feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away.

I’ve grown up taking care of my family dog and have now been pet sitting for over a year. Before starting Rover, I volunteered for two years at Austin Pets Alive!, where I worked with dogs with many different personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I’ve also cared for service dogs in training, so I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and maintaining routines. I’m comfortable with both active dogs and more anxious or shy pets, and I always try to make animals feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away.

Kavya was wonderful with our big pup, we are so fortunate to have found her and booked her. She is attentive and flexible with her schedule. Ori immediately connected with Kavya, with other new people it takes him a while. But with Kavya, he was calm and snuggly right away, as if he already knew her. We appreciate her calm and soothing energy, and obviously so do pets. It was also reassuring to know Kavya had so much experience working with dogs in a range of temperament, from her volunteer times. All in all, Kavya is a star and we highly recommend her! ✨
Kavya did a great job looking over my 2 cats! She was prompt on visits and feedings and checked in with me every day with a photo or two!
