I am very gentle with pets, but also very playful! I recognize that they are often home alone for a good portion of the day, and that they would love a companion and a way to release energy. In my own home, I carve out time each and every day to properly stimulate my cats! In others’ homes, I do my best to appear as a familiar figure in the pets’ safe space. With cats, I take a gentler approach. With dogs, I let them sniff and then shower them with cuddles and playtime! And on walks, I am happy to walk them for as long as needed. I recognize that some dogs need a lot of exercise or stimulation, and with my active lifestyle it’s nothing I can’t handle.

A typical day
I love to give dogs different experiences as much as I can. This means playing with different toys each day, alternating between walking routes, and giving them treats when they are exceptionally well behaved! Dogs love to explore, and I want to give them the freedom to do so under the safety of my care. With cats, I recognize that some are more independent, and will give them the space they need to feel comfortable. With playful cats, I will entertain them as much as possible, because home life can get lonely!

I’ve loved dogs and cats my whole life! I have been pet sitting/ walking since I was old enough to, and I now own two lovely cats :) I love pets of all ages, breeds, and sizes, and am very patient / experienced with elderly and young pets. As a musician, I get to create my own schedule—meaning I am very flexible and can adapt to your needs. If you’ll have me, I’d love to treat your precious ones with the same love and care that I show my own fur babies :)

Kavya was very responsive when my usual sitter had to cancel last minute for the Christmas Holiday. She came over to meet the kitties the same day I messaged her, and the kitties were immediately at ease with her. She took great care of them and I got photos while I was away. As a veterinarian, I am very choosy about who watches my pets. I would absolutely have Kavya watch my kitties again and also have her watch my dogs in the future too.
