Hiya, I’m Katya! I’m 23 and have recently graduated from university after spending the last few years studying in Cardiff. I’ve now moved to Cwmbran with my partner and his family, where I’ll be based for the next year. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and have around 10 years of experience being around and caring for them, from looking after my own dogs to helping friends and family with theirs. Because of this, I’m comfortable around dogs of different sizes, personalities and energy levels, and I absolutely love getting to know each dog's individual little quirks! Since graduating, I’ve decided to take some time before jumping straight into a full-time career, which means I currently have a much more flexible schedule. Pet sitting and dog walking gives me the opportunity to spend that time doing something I genuinely enjoy. I’m caring, patient and reliable, and I understand how nerve-racking it can be to trust somebody else with your pet. I’ll always treat them with the same love and care I’d give my own and make sure you’re kept updated while they’re with me. ❤️

care for every pet as if they were my own and understand that every animal has their own personality, boundaries and routine. I’ll always follow any instructions you leave, whether that’s feeding times, walks, medication or any little routines that help them feel comfortable. I’m patient when meeting new animals and will always let them get to know me at their own pace. I’m also more than happy to send photos and updates while you’re away!

Having had a number of pets within our family ( x2 dogs x2 cats ) Katya is very polite, funny and a kind young woman who has always been keen to walk, take care and feed our two dogs while being away with work or holidays… Katya is trust worthy, will always in keep in contact when and if required and looks after the property as it was her own..

Schedule
Since graduating from university, my schedule has become much more flexible. I still work part-time at a bar, usually on Friday and Sunday evenings and occasionally during the week, although my shifts can vary. At the moment I’m taking some time to figure out my next steps after university, but I still love keeping myself busy! During the week I spend my time going to the gym, attending networking events and working on my own ventures . Pet sitting and dog walking fits really nicely into my routine as it gives me another reason to get out of the house while spending time with animals, which I absolutely love. Because my schedule is fairly flexible, I’m happy to work around you and your pet’s routine wherever I can.

- I’d mainly like to know if there’s anything I should be particularly aware of beforehand — for example, how they are around other dogs and people, anything they’re nervous or reactive towards, or any behaviours I should look out for. I’d also love to know their favourite things, whether that’s a certain toy, treat, walking spot or even where they like to snooze! 🐾
