I work full time mostly remotely but may need to leave the house for extended periods, so let’s chat about how long your pets can be left alone and if there are any schedule conflicts. Drop-in care is an option for when you’re out of town if there’s some flexibility on timing. I am most open to dog walks and pet drop-ins on the weekends.

Is your pet’s profile complete? The information you provide about your furry friend helps prompt pre- meet and greet questions. For house sitting, the more details and instructions you can provide, the better. (Please include anything that was discussed in person, too.) Please send to me prior to the stay so I can ask any questions/ask for clarification if need be. I LOVE spending time with your pets, but because staying away from home can be taxing after an extended period of time, I charge more for stays that are longer than four nights. I will let you know if this is the case with your stay prior to our meet and greet.

I pay for extra storage on my phone—that’s how many pet photos I take. Dog walks = smelling all the things, working on any training as directed, and praising good behavior. Drop-ins = feeding, watering, letting out to use bathroom or cleaning litter box, and giving copious amounts of attention/playing with any extra time.

Our pets are our family, so I understand the importance in not just caring for your furry friend, but communicating their care to you along the way so you feel confident in their well being and comfortable while you’re away. I’ve been offering pet care on Rover for over five years now and I grew up with dogs (a golden retriever, two black labs, and an affen pinscher). I love cats and would be happy to stop by for drop-ins while you’re out of town. We can discuss any other pet care, too. (I’ve owned or fostered over 30 guinea pigs, too, so I’m highly qualified for cavy care.) I hope to hear from you soon! My pronouns are she/her.

Katy was amazing and I would 100% recommend her for your pets! She really helped us in a bind and on a holiday weekend. We are so grateful and Whiskey looked like a happy pup! She was a great communicator and we really appreciated the pics and updates we received.
Katy was fabulous with our pups! Very responsive leading up to the stay, loved on the dogs while she watched them, and it was obvious when we arrived home to dogs that were more than content! Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Katy is truly incredible! From the moment we met her, it was clear that she genuinely cares for pets. While we were away, she provided our dog with so much love and attention, which made a world of difference—especially since he struggles to eat when we're not home. Katy took the time to ensure he was comfortable and even helped him eat, which we really appreciated. She kept us updated daily with fun photos and messages, which reassured us that our dog was in great hands. To top it all off, she left our house spotless! We are so grateful for her exceptional service and will absolutely be using Katy again in the future. Highly recommend!
