Dogs Are A Girl's Best Friend

Thank you!*** *I do not charge for cats unless I am sitting for or dropping in on only cats. If your cat is charged on the itinerary, please let me know so I can remove them. Thank you!* I have been a responsible dog guardian personally and professionally for 22 years. My first dog was a chow chow who I loved for seven years, and my second is a dachshund/chihuahua mix who I've been loving for almost eight years. I have volunteered several weekends at the Humane Society of Northwest Georgia and the Humane Society of Jefferson County. I have been pet sitting professionally for nearly eight years. Additionally, I cared for the dogs of the families for who I used to babysit. I enjoy loving, caring for, and being active with all breeds of all sizes. My greatest passion in life is animals, so getting to hang out with them everyday is a dream come true. I can't wait to love your fur baby!

Katy and I did a meet and greet twice prior to the house sitting request going over everything. She was okay with everything and my animals are super simple and easy. She also offered to water the plants while we were away and change out the hummingbird food. I also disclosed that I had cameras in and out of the house. During the stay I provided notes for the instructions that included things we had already discussed at the meet and greet and also sent her a Rover message with the same items. I want to point out that I do believe my animals were taken care of, but the issue I have was with lack of communication, not telling the truth about things, and hiding from my cameras to smoke weed on my front porch. For someone that is staying at my house pretty much the entire day I would expect communication or to at least write me back on Rover when you are in fact at my house. I continuously tried to reach out to her throughout the day through rover with no response even for several hours later. On the last day when I canceled the visits I didn’t even receive any update since 2pm which would have been 8 hours when I ended up canceling. As mentioned we have cameras in the house and could see that her phone was intentionally left on the couch when she was in our bedroom with the door shut. We watched her walk to her phone and look at it, and never respond to me and left it back out there for the remainder of the time she was there. We tried to call her three times as well and watched the phone ring on the camera with no answer prior to my in laws arriving to take over the visits. As far not telling the truth about doing things she told me she watered the plants and can confirm that was not done via the cameras. As for the weed, we watched what appears to be her counting the cameras on my back porch and have video footage from my front door of her and her boyfriend walking back into my house holding a bag with weed in it along with blunt wraps. To do that at someone’s house you do not know but the FRONT porch is even crazier.

Schedule
I work in retail, so my work schedule varies week to week. However, a typical work day is around six hours. Additionally, I occasionally do drop-ins and walks. I am usually gone between two to three hours when I have drop-ins and walks scheduled.
