I am presently pet sitting in addition to working full time. I work Monday-Friday, but I am usually remote on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I am available all day on weekends and state holidays, and I am available in the evening or early morning on Monday through Friday. If you have a weekday request, I am happy to accommodate if you just message me. Rover doesn’t give me the option to set the times I am available so It is marked as unavailable. If you ever have any issues booking or want to inquire anways, just send me a message and I’m happy to help however possible. ☺️

I consider myself to be an honest and respectful person. I typically ask for house rules or details I should know prior to entering someone’s home. I try and stay in the view of cameras if I see them as best as possible and communicate before, during, and after the visit to ensure satisfaction with the service I provide. I understand it can be scary allowing someone to enter your home and care for your loved ones.

I think it is important for owners to tell me about any allergies their animal may have, medications or medical conditions I may need to be aware of, and whether their pet has aggression towards other animals. I also appreciate knowing about any factors such as animals that commonly get loose or act aggressive towards your animal in the area so I can be prepared to take measures to avoid anything happening. If you have a camera or cameras that you use to check in, feel free to tell me so I can make sure you see your furry family member on camera as much as possible. ☺️☺️

I enjoy walking on trails around Morgantown or at Coopers Rock State Park. I also am happy to adhere to normal walking routes near your home (if you have one and share the information with me) or walk around the neighborhood you live in. It all depends on what you prefer. I typically offer more options as I get to know owners and book with them on a regular basis. In those situations, I am happy to do things (with permission/upon request of the owner) like allowing them to come to my home and play with my dogs in my fenced in back yard, go to dog parks, take them swimming at cheat lake, go to the vet, or take them to local pet stores to pick out a toy/treat, drop off/pick up at grooming appointments, etc.

I’m from a family full of animal lovers so I grew up learning how to respect and live amongst many types of animals. I presently own 3 dogs with my significant other, we foster from time to time, and I regularly pet sit/walk dogs, cats, birds, and guinea pigs (if it isn’t on the list, just reach out and we can discuss whether you feel comfortable showing me what I need to do to care for your species of pet). I honor just about any request from watering plants to bringing inside packages. If you have time, I am happy to make prebooking appointments (without charge) where we can discuss your animals routine, my experience, pricing, and other requests to decide whether you feel that I am a good fit for you and your pet(s). If you do not have time, I can also arrange video or phone calls or even just work from a note with the details I need to provide the proper care for your pet(s). I am here to help you and give you the best experience possible. If you are outside of the geographic area I service, do accept visits outside the standard area I service. However, I do have to upcharge for these services in order to make it feasible for me to do so. We can discuss the rate based upon the distance outside my area.

Katy is professional, knowledgeable and dependable. She always does a great job handling our 3 cats. She is able to meet them at their various social levels from super friendly youngster, to mostly friendly teen to our older "seen it all and not impressed" cat.

Katy did an excellent job. She and my cat bonded quickly, and she communicated promptly and thoroughly throughout. I would absolutely choose her again and couldn’t recommend her enough.
