I’ve had a passion for quality animal care since around age 10. It was then, over one summer break, that I started a non-profit dog-walking service called “Kids Who Care,” in our large newly developing neighborhood, subsequently donating all proceeds to the local animal shelter, Noah’s Ark. Ever since, my love for animals continues to grow exponentially, as well as awe for the relationships we humans can develop with animals of any kind! I have experience with cats, dogs, reptiles, birds & fish.. you name it!

Safety, trust & environment
Happy to help with any potty “accidents” or incidental messes one might encounter when caring for animals. I will follow any/all instructions to ensure your fur-baby feels as safe & as comfortable as possible while you’re away! I know how important routine can be for our pets, and understand how scary it can be sometimes when meeting new people, so I am always reading animals’ body language to assess their mood & adjust plans if needed. That being said, I also love taking the more extroverted fur-friends out for adventures, whether it’s just walking around the block, or a hike through the woods! In any case, I’ll be sure to keep your pet safe, as well as keeping them happy & as stress-free as possible.

We could not be happier with the care and attention that Katy gave to our kitty while we were away. She provided daily photos, detailed updates and just went above and beyond our expectations in every aspect. Not only does Katy have a kind and caring heart- she developed a quick bond with our grumpy little princess and understood her kitty-quirks right away. Highly recommend- Katy is a star!

Schedule
I am a Nurse Practitioner, licensed in family practice with experience in emergency & internal medicine. Currently, however, I am taking a break from the health-care industry (for my own sanity) & look forward to spending quality time with your fur-babies, offering my undivided attention.
