Providing professional pet care services to the North Atlanta (including East Cobb, Marietta, Kennesaw, Woodstock, Sandy Springs, Chastain Park, & Cumberland/The Battery) & Savannah areas, as well as travel house/petsitting! 🐶🐱 🐩 🐈 🐐 🐎 🐓 🦆 🦜 🦚 🐰 🦔 🦎 🐢 🐠 Taking care of animals has always been a passion of mine. Animals have always been part of my family and you can rest assured that I will treat your pet(s) as if they are my "fur(or furless)-nieces/nephews"! Which, of course, means lots of love & attention, fun, safe & responsible activities, patience, understanding, compassion, and all-around great care! I adore all animals, including the ones I have yet to meet, and their unique personalities. I have extensive experience caring for dogs & cats of all shapes and sizes, breeds, backgrounds, and levels of need, as well as a variety of other animals (including horses, small mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, farm animals, and more)! This includes over 15 years of taking care of my own pets, and those of friends, neighbors, and clients, as well as many years of experience working and volunteering in animal rescue/shelter environments (including positive reinforcement training with Victoria Stilwell), the Georgia Aquarium (including the water quality, commissary, husbandry, and quarantine departments), wildlife rehab, the veterinary setting (as a vet assistant), and the animal-assisted therapy field (canines and equines). In addition, I worked as a research assistant in canine cognition and helped train service and detection dogs while pursuing my degree. After graduating and moving to a different state, I missed engaging with and caring for such a wonderful variety of animals on a weekly/daily basis and the rewarding heartfelt connections with the animals I worked with, which is what brought me here to Rover! I love working with all types of pets and I have a soft spot for animals who are misunderstood/stigmatized by society when it comes to their species, breed, and/or special needs!
